Adam Toms Posted Tuesday at 09:30 Posted Tuesday at 09:30 Hi all, We need to run a PowerShell script, which we want to use on a scheduled runbook activity. The contents of that PowerShell will contain AD usernames and AD groups. Dumping this into a timeline within the ticket would be an unworkable format. We'd like the contents to be attached to a ticket, which the recipients can review, but we cannot see an obvious way of grabbing the output of the script and uploading this into the ticket as attachment. We're looking to do periodic audits using ITOM runbooks scheduled at 6 month intervals. We have the script working, but the output into the CSV file is important so the contents can be reviewed and audit. Any advice on how we can capture the output as an attachment would be much appreciated. Many Thanks Adam
SamS Posted Tuesday at 09:55 Posted Tuesday at 09:55 Hi @Adam Toms, Are you familiar with the following: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php?title=XMLMC_API_File_Upload_Sample Admittedly, the article is a little outdated (JSON is now the format to use (as opposed to XMLMC). 1
Adam Toms Posted Tuesday at 10:23 Author Posted Tuesday at 10:23 Thanks @SamS We will certainly take a look at this. If we can't figure it out we might be in touch again, but at least we know that there is a way forward. Thanks again Adam
