Berto2002 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I very regularly need to grab a link for a form on the customer portal to send someone. Almost invariably, I need to go to the Service Portfolio Catalog Items first to check which form it is. i also like to check the forms in the portal after configuring. However, getting from the Catlog to the Portal involves opening another tab, navigating to it, etc; every time. A fastpath would be good. The customer portal forms are very formulaic comprising a standard URL prefix with /[serviceId]/[catalogId]: https://live.hornbill.com/xxx/catalog/new-service-request/com.hornbill.servicemanager/133/1461/. It is therefore very easy to construct a URL for any given Catalog Item. I request such a link be added to either of the below locations (in green) and called "Direct Link": on the Cat Item itself or in the Update dialogue box. It won't be editable but it will be clickable (open in new tab). As a cross-reference, a similar feature is present in Document Manager where we can get the Direct Link for users. Thanks in advance for considering. PS As a stretch goal, I would like to see Admin users get a link the other way when in the portal themselves; they can click a link in any given Cat Item on the portal and they are taken to the Service configuration page for that Request Type.

Customer Portal forms do not have a live.hornbill.com url, they have a customer.hornbill.com or a custom url depending on your configuration. I suspect you're talking about the Employee Portal here. 46 minutes ago, Berto2002 said: I very regularly need to grab a link for a form on the customer portal to send someone. This seems like an usual scenario - the whole purpose of a Portal is to access via the main landing page where up to date information, bulletins, self-help opportunities and other information that may deflect a Request is available. And in fact, to get to the Catalog Item settings to see the url you need is significantly more effort than the 3 "clicks" (Home Page, Service, Catalog Item) you need to retrieve it from where it is used; you'd have to use Home Page, Service Manager, Service Portfolio, Service, Request Type, Catalog Item, Settings - over double the "clicks"
