Berto2002 Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Just a quick note to say thanks for all your hard work in 2024 developing and supporting Service Manager and associated apps. I find it particularly pleasing that you have not 'corporatized' too much and withdrawn behind the anonymous face of a impersonal desk. I said as much to @AlexTumber at HUG. As customers, we see people, faces & names behind the label; we see you on the forums and meet you at user groups. It's a bit like working with colleagues. I see this as Hornbill wanting to stay connected with the reality of what customers are doing with the product and it gives an organic feel to the direction. That in turn fosters our understanding when things go wrong, getting a sense you are running hard and fast to drive into new areas for everyone's benefit. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 14
Gerry Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 @Berto2002 Thank you for that feedback, I think everyone at Hornbill will appreciate you have taken some time to write then. As you can imagine, most of the team here at Hornbill tend to get a highly concentrated view of the problems our customers encounter in their day to day working with our solution, and its very easy to get lost in the idea that its all just problems, which in reality, that is only a very small part of the overall picture. We are not perfect of course, but everyone here at Hornbill is customer focused, we care deeply about our customers successes because in the end, thats what leads to our own success. We appreciate every customer and we do our upmost to serve everyone as best we can, if we were a faceless corporate we would not be Hornbill. If you don't mind, I am going to anonymise your comment and use for a LinkedIn post, will not mention your name or organisation. Thanks your constant feedback and participation in the Hornbill community, its much appreciated. Gerry 6
