You need the three ''' before and after the string you are making bold https://docs.hornbill.com/esp-fundamentals/reference-guides/hornbill-wiki-markup#text-formatting With headings make sure the first equals is at the start of a new line and the last equals is imediatly followed by a new line with no character or spaces after it.

Thanks @TrevorKillick i did try it at the start and end of the string but it didn't work i am afraid.
Steve Giller Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Can you post a screenshot of your config, please? I've been testing this and is works as expected for me.
Lee C Posted November 29 Author Posted November 29 thanks, i suspect i have not entered this right! I then changed it to
Bob Dickinson Posted November 29 Posted November 29 @Lee C I don't believe you can use the bold markup in conjunction with header markup - it's one or the other
Steve Giller Posted November 29 Posted November 29 I see: for: =Hi {{user.fName}},= '''=Hi {{user.fName}},=''' '''Hi {{user.fName}},''' respectively, so I'm guessing that the last one is what you need? (Note: =TEXT= automatically emboldens the TEXT so '''=TEXT=''' or ='''TEXT'''= would be redundant markup)
