Luke Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Hi, I'm working on an SLA response and resolution breach board, and I've been testing updates to the card colour and "Content" using the "Update Card" Hornbill Automation node in an Auto Tasks workflow. The workflow is configured to run when cards enter a lane, retrieving the cardId and request data is all fine and I can use the output variables to update the card "Content" as per below screen print: I've got SLA targets defined to add tickets to specific lanes on the board as required. So far so good. If I have the board open and wait for a card to appear, or if I drag manually from one lane to another, then the colour and content are updated as expected, I've got 5 lines of text so you can see at a glance the priority, response due date, team, owner and customer. But if I refresh the page (F5) or navigate manually to the board again then the "Content" disappears and it reverts to the standard: Is this a known issue? I've been unable to find a way to make it stick, I've tried separate nodes for the colour and content updates, applying the automation to only one lane rather than all of them, adding the automation to the board instead of each lane. I'm out of ideas now. This is my Auto Task workflow: Any help would be gratefully received! Thanks, Luke
TrevorHarris Posted November 15 Posted November 15 By default cards from Service Manager are automatically sync to the data in the service manager request table, if you want to change the contents that appears on the card you will need to disable the data syncing for that board. This is done on the Board Config popup which can be accessed from the right hand menu of the board and checking the Disable syncing data from different Applications checkbox that appears under the Advanced Config toggle.
Luke Posted November 15 Author Posted November 15 Ah, really easy solution then! Thanks for the quick response, I'll give it a go!
