Post Message To Private Teams Channel

Hi

Has anyone used this in a workflow and did it work for a private teams channel? i have it setup but it wont post the message, the keysafe entry has been refreshed today so the token is active and the keysafe entry connected is highlighted below

As far as i can tell the right teams entry has been chosen for keysafe, the workflow does not error it just does not post the message to the teams channel. Does it only work for public teams?

What responses are returned by the Send Message node?

Hi Steve, there is no error as far as i can see it just does not post to the channel

had me doubting if i had the channel ID right but im sure i have as i have tried it all the ways i can think of

The node will still have return values - you need to review these to see what the response was.

Posting them to the Timeline is a quick and easy method during testing.

Apologies Steve, how do i do this? i have never done this in any testing before!

ah i figured it out, cheers Steve i can see the error.

do you know what permissions i would need to make this work?

I'm afraid not, that's an error from the Teams side, so not something I'm familiar with.

The ID you use in O365 needs major privileges to be able to post to teams.
