Gareth Cantrell Posted October 31 Posted October 31 We have a form with a static radioset (but the same applies to check boxes and dropdowns) with the raw values set to: "Yes" and "No". In English, the corresponding display values are set accordingly. In Japanese, we have changed the display values to Japanese, but left the raw value in English. HOWEVER, in the Goto If custom expression, the translated DISPLAY value is being evaluated, not the raw value. This means that we would have to add additional custom expressions for EVERY language we need translations for - this is not optimal, and not expected and is prone to multiple errors!
Gareth Cantrell Posted October 31 Author Posted October 31 This is going to have a massive impact on my ability to deliver a fully translated experience by next week
Gareth Cantrell Posted October 31 Author Posted October 31 In the spirit of inconsistency, override flags WITHIN a form work as expected, and do not require a separate condition for each translated language.
Bob Dickinson Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Hi @Gareth Cantrell I've just tried to replicate this on a local instance and it actually works for me and appears to be using the values as expected - I think I've set up in the same way you describe: Could you download your capture and send it over to me and I can see if it works locally? Kind regards Bob
Gareth Cantrell Posted November 7 Author Posted November 7 Hi @Bob Dickinson I've PM'd you as I didn't want to post the ICF publicly.
Gareth Cantrell Posted November 7 Author Posted November 7 As per PM chat, it appears to be working correctly now.
