Chandani Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Hi After closing the ticket. user receives the link below and not linking to Survey page. https://service.hornbill.com/hertsmereidsservicedesk/servicemanager/request/view/IN00048272
Steve Giller Posted October 28 Posted October 28 "service.hornbill.com" was removed quite a long time ago. Off the top of my head you'll need to update any Templates using that address to use: https://live.hornbill.com/{{instanceId}}/catalog/com.hornbill.servicemanager/request/{{.H_PK_REFERENCE}}/
Nanette Posted October 28 Posted October 28 @Chandani please can you post the URL that you have tried?
Chandani Posted October 28 Author Posted October 28 https://live.hornbill.com/hertsmereidsservicedesk/catalog/com.hornbill.servicemanager/request/IN00048336
Steve Giller Posted October 29 Posted October 29 @Chandani I'm afraid "It's not working" doesn't give us anything to go on. The URL is correct, you need to explain what you expect to happen, and what actually is happening. Some screenshots may make it easier that trying to describe it here.
Chandani Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 When I click the email link https://live.hornbill.com/hertsmereidsservicedesk/catalog/com.hornbill.servicemanager/request/IN00048336 comes up with this.
Steve Giller Posted October 29 Posted October 29 When I hover on your link above the text looks correct, but the link behind it is still to the "service" domain. In the screenshot the Instance Name is in capitals - this needs to be lower case.
Chandani Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 @Steve Giller Its working if i copy and paste the link on the browser. If i click the link goes to https://service.hornbill.com/hertsmereidsservicedesk/servicemanager/request/view/IN00048350 And sometimes /hertsmereidsservicedesk comes up with upper case
Steve Giller Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Links are in two parts, the text that is displayed and the actual link behind the text - these can be the same which I think they initially were in your case. It certainly appears that you have edited the display text so it looks like the correct link, but the link behind it (which responds to the click) has remained the same. You will need to ensure that the link part is edited to match the displayed text.
Chandani Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 @Steve GillerWhere shall i change this ? I did here - ResolutionNotification_v1
Steve Giller Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I'm assuming that this is in an email Template, and from the name above that's not one provided out of the box, so I can't give precise advice there, but the Email Template documentation should assist.
Chandani Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 @Steve Giller Email template there is a URL link. Thank you. Found it and all working fine
