Ann-MarieHolloway Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Question as I can't locate anything relative in my quick search of the forum, does Hornbill have any information on Event Management? I'm trying to find a way to link our existing catalogue items to our Event Logging Process in order to identify what is needed for our event logging Service Value Stream. Any information greatly appreciated
James Ainsworth Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Hi @Ann-MarieHolloway We don't have any specific functionality for Event Management. We would typically integration with a solution that specializes in event management and provide some for of automation for raising requests based on certain events. We may need a bit more information on what you are wanting to achieve. Do you have an existing event management tool?
Berto2002 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Interesting idea. Just a couple of thoughts on this. Workflow can: Create and remove Contacts Add/remove people from Simplelilsts Add/Remove people from Organizations Add/Remove people from O365 groups using iBridge. This has the advantage that O365 groups can have email addresses so you can email registered members The above gives you ways to have people register for events. Workflow also allows people to de-register from all the above. You could even have workflows to create the events that people then can subscribe to. 1
James Ainsworth Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Maybe we need a definition of event management. I was looking at it from the ITIL Event Management definition point of view, but that might not be the case.
Berto2002 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Haha I think I was off-kilter here not you @James Ainsworth I think my marketing experience suddenly took over again! 1 1

You have understood me correctly @James Ainsworth it is relating to monitoring / alerting tools raising Incidents because of an 'event'
