samwoo Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Good morning, I wanted to list a few issues I have found with the Knowledge Manager. Maybe others can contribute any issues here. I can use CTRL + B to make text "bold", but I cannot use it to "un-bold" the text When pasting images directly into the Article from clipboard, it pastes it twice When pasting images directly into the Article at the spot I want it to sit within, it places the image in a new paragraph. It's a bit of a hassle trying move the image to sit with the paragraph I intended for it to sit within (for example, inside a a numbered or bulleted list) If I make a change in HTML view and then undo that change, I cannot redo it (for example if I used undo too far accidentally) (UPDATE: This appears to happen when working on multiple lines at the same time, like cutting multiple lines of text and then trying to undo it) Tags / Keywords when creating or editing an Article isn't working. I've tried using commas, semi-colons, putting in a single tag / keyword at a time, but it's not saving. But so far, it looks good. I was only doing some initial testing so not using in a live capacity yet. 1

I can't replicate the images pasting twice - not sure what's happening there. I spotted some formatting getting lost when moving between HTML to standard editor - I'll feed this back to development. Re: Tags - you can't create new tags at the article level. Instead, tags are created and managed from the Knowledge Admin area (under Configuration -> Service Manager -> Knowledge). Once you, as a Knowledge admin have created a set of tags, they can then be assigned to articles. 1
samwoo Posted October 22 Author Posted October 22 Hi @Joel, Sorry the the delay in responding. The duplication of the images pasting issue seems to have resolved itself... very odd. Will keep an eye on this one. Thanks for looking into the formatting issue Thanks for the information regarding tags. Today I have another issue... whenever I try and create an article, I get this error: This error occurs no matter what I do to the article, and if I keep saving it, it keeps creating drafts - I had to delete 6 of the same articles due to this. I also cannot take any of these articles out of draft state as well, due to this error.
Steve Giller Posted October 22 Posted October 22 @samwoo Can you follow up on this thread, please? That will prevent the discussion from being diluted over multiple thread.
