Can confirm also seeing this. Major slow down then stopped completely.

As explained in the previous thread, the action of adding all roles to users continues in the background even if the front end times out. However it appears that the button was pressed multiple times leaving several backend processes running. These have now been terminated and it should have recovered

Apologies to all, I initially thought the error meant the process hadn't initiated, now I know shan't happen again.
