User date of birth fields showing unusual characters

Hi I have noticed that the date of birth field in the 'About' section of a user is showing the characters 'NaN' in the month and day fields.

When clicking on the field it changes back to show 'MM' or 'DD'.

Is this supposed to show?

If so what does 'NaN' mean?

This component was recently updated/changed so it uses the newer/better date component we added a year ago, we discovered this problem ourselves a couple of weeks go, this is already on beta so should be with you very soon.

You should be able to, if you don't change the DOB field nothing will happen with that field.  NaN is a valid "JavaScript" value, it means, its a number thats "Not A Number" in other words, it means its not set.  The fact its getting displayed like that is a defect, but as I say we have removed that old component.  So yeah, if you do not need to set the DOB just ignore it, nothing bad is/will be happening.
