Custom Criteria in SM Reporting

Hi,

Trying to set up a table join that looks for either customer attribute 8 or request site name to then join up to the sites table on the site name field

This is how I have put it together, but get an error

Where am I going wrong?

Can you join two tables based on a value in a completely different table?

That doesn't sound likely to me.
