JoanneG Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Good Afternoon, is it possible on logging a request when you enter the asset, it shows the asset status.. so the Service Desk could instantly see the Asset is in Archived Status?
Peter Clough Posted September 25 Posted September 25 +1 for this, ideally including sub-state as well, if practical.
Steve Giller Posted September 25 Posted September 25 For info: The enhancement request is for the right panel of the Capture to display some (user-selected) attributes from the Asset node in much the same way as the Customer node does at present. At this stage I cannot confirm that this has been accepted, nor offer any timescales if it is.
Gareth Cantrell Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Adding my +1 for this - I can guarantee we'll be shouted at asked for this shortly as we start deeper integrations with asset management
Berto2002 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I asked for this last year. I will try to find it. The absence of it means we can't properly avoid links to archived assets which is a constant headache for our asset manager.
Berto2002 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 December 9, 2022 I asked for this. Can Hornbill consider merging these enhancement threads so a proper requirement can be put together? There's a strong case from key HB customers over a sustained period to stop archived assets being found or enable them to be differentiated for users and agents alike. Martyn also requested it in this thread: 1
Steve Giller Posted September 26 Posted September 26 You can configure the form to include a specific status:
Berto2002 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Yes but you cannot EXCLUDE a status which is key because I need to show BOTH active and current and I cannot select both in the form nor have two forms; so I am left with a choice of showing half the assets (either active or current) or all the assets, including archived. Also users and agents cannot SEE the statuses. 1
