andyisaacs Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Hello, Started receiving this error yesterday afternoon, no changes to workflow. Board exists and has done for some time. Any advice on how to resolve please? Error. Status : Failed Last Updated On : 18-09-2024 18:33:58 Xmlmc method invocation failed for BPM invocation node 'stage-f4679e09/flowcode-2a486f19': <methodCallResult status="fail"> <state> <code>0200</code> <service>apps</service> <operation>getBoardInformation</operation> <error>FlowCode Exception (com.hornbill.boardmanager/entities/Board/fc_bpm/getBoardInformation): FC2 output error: Schema validation: Restriction violation, enumeration value 'The specified board could not be found' not matched (com.hornbill.boardmanager/entities/Board/fc_bpm/getBoardInformation/outcome)</error> </state> </methodCallResult>
Jim Posted September 19 Posted September 19 There is definitely something happening with boards from Hornbill, we've started having failures in places that never errored before and haven't been changed for a while especially the board nodes and several people have posted about errors, Hoping someone from Hornbill is able to clarify 1
TrevorHarris Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Hi, This error suggests the BPM getBoardInformation node is not correctly configured as it cannot find the board specified, you can check the name exaclty matches your board name and the application is set to Board Manager on the node. These errors were previously being returned in the outcome param and the flowcode was allowed to continue on ignoring the error whereas now they are being thrown. We will soon deploy a patch which will mean that these nodes will fail sileently again to allow the BPM to continue but you should still check you node to see why it is failing Trevor
andyisaacs Posted September 19 Author Posted September 19 Thanks for the swift reply. I think I need some extra insight here as all the nodes are configured the same within the workflow, the name is correct. There are 2 Application options:
EWA Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I've been received the same error since yesterday. Logged Support call. Someone else started to get same issue since yesterday
Mosh Posted September 19 Posted September 19 @TrevorHarris could we please have an ETA on when the patch is scheduled for release. We're also seeing more of our internal customers being impacted by this. Kind regards
andyisaacs Posted September 19 Author Posted September 19 Would be good to get some insight on how this came to be, so that we can avoid future Workflow issues. If the nodes allow 'silent failure' pass through, I wonder if it could be explicit what is and what isn't a correct configuration for that node? Running a test shows successful but I've no way of knowing if this is due to the 'silent failure' or if I've correctly configured the node as the end result is the same. I assume this is a global change by Hornbill as there are multiple users reporting similar errors? 1
EWA Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I'm not entirely sure this is the correct answer. After looking at my board it if fact seems correct, back with support.
