Sam P Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 I have been able to successfully add an expiration date to an AD account using ITOM, but also need the ability to set it / change it to Never. I note from the Documentation that the field requires a date string, but does anyone know how I can set the field to select the Never radio button? Typing Never in the field obviously doesn't work. Thanks
Steve Giller Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 This has been picked up internally and will be available at some point - I can't give timescales on this at present, I'm afraid. 1
Sam P Posted November 5, 2024 Author Posted November 5, 2024 Hi @Steve Giller are you able to tell if this has moved forward at all? Thanks
Jordan Gooding-McGovern Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Hey @Sam P, this was added in our latest ITOM update: https://community.hornbill.com/topic/27940-new-update-itom-packages-149/#comment-128551 but I can see that the description wasn't updated to reflect that. If you type in 'never' for the expiration date, it will be set to 'never' in AD. A change to update the description is currently working its way through our developer pipeline (along with some other small changes) and should be in the next release. Do let us know if you run into any problems. Jordan
Sam P Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Oh thats great, thank you @Jordan Gooding-McGovern Will give it a try!
Jordan Gooding-McGovern Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago There's a chance that it didn't automatically update your hornbill AD package and thus the changes haven't come through yet (this too will be fixed in the next release) if this has happened, please uninstall + reinstall the Hornbill Active Directory User Management package and it should then work.
Sam P Posted 13 minutes ago Author Posted 13 minutes ago Hi @Jordan Gooding-McGovern I removed the Package and reinstalled it, tried setting the value to never however I received the following WARN outcome (all other updates in the node worked fine), is there anything else I need to do? Thanks
