I think it's probably a no as I couldn't find a relevant field when editing templates but thought I'd ask - has anyone else had a need for this and found a workaround?

I've suggested them logging in and getting the information themselves. Unfortunately these users seem pretty determined on them having the ticket history available in an e-mail immediately without the complication of logging in and accessing the ticket from a portal!

It's not a feature that's available, mainly because it wouldn't work (any query complex enough to gather and filter all of that data would time out) so I'll leave it with you to decide how to frame your answer to them.

If you have HAi active, there is a Timeline Summary option that would generate (as you can imagine) a summary of the Timeline entries, however I've not had the opportunity to explore that in full yet so I can't currently explain how (if?) that output could be emailed to the Customer other than manually.
