RRR
Hi everyone, I wanted to discuss our IT services’ data migration. Previously, we used Supportworks for about 10 years and accumulated a significant amount of data. We transitioned to Hornbill around 2-3 years ago. Is there a possibility to import the data, including backups and reports, from Supportworks to Hornbill? So we have any features for importing that data to hornbill, any specific format we need to adhere to ? Can someone please share some insight. Any input is much appreciated. Steve Giller
I've moved this to the System Administration forum. The first port of call would be the Supportworks Request Import Tool so if you can review that documentation and post back with additional questions. Reports can be duplicated in Hornbill, but not imported as the data schema will be completely different. I'm not sure what you mean by importing backups, you'd need to clarify the expectations here.
RRR
Thanks for sharing. I will go through the documentation. We have the back up of server and database on tape.
