will.good Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Hi, We have some requests that we would like to recode, mainly where the coding tree has been updated and/or requests have been coded incorrectly. The quickest and easiest way we have found to do this is via API using Powershell (using the documentation here). This allows us to update the category. However there is no way to update the closure category this way. I'm aware we can use the resolveRequest API, but using this changes the status to resolved (where requests will already be closed) and also then updates the Resolve Date of the request. Is there a way to use an API to just update the closure category? We've had bulk requests recoded by support before, so I'm guessing there is a way?
Steve Giller Posted September 4 Posted September 4 The only publicly available APIs that I'm aware of would be resolveRequest or closeRequest. 2 hours ago, will.good said: I'm guessing there is a way? You could raise an Expert Services Request to see if they have additional tools at their disposal. 1
