EWA Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Latest SM release introduced Bpm operation to link an individual service to a request {CH00183897} where I can find out more how this actually works?
AlexTumber Posted September 3 Posted September 3 @EWA thanks for your post. This operation should have been added to the official documentation so I'll check why that isn't currently the case. In essence, the new operation performs the same action as you would do manually on a request: The thinking behind this operation is that although you can relate business and technical services together, you often have a large amount of them. It doesn't make sense to relate every related service to every request that is made with the current bpm operation (although you can filter by relationship type). We wanted to give the option to relate individual services if you knew for example each time for a specific catalog item or a particular service that an additional service(s) needed to be linked. James Ainsworth Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Hi @EWA Thanks for your post. The Hornbill Automation relates to the Linked Services Action on a request. The Add Linked Service automation allows for services to be automatically added in place of having them manually added using this Linked Services Action. The technical documentation for each Hornbill Automation can be accessed from the Hornbill Automation node using the blue ? icon from within the workflow designer. This is what should be available to you directly in the workflow designer. I hope that helps. 2
