Asset - Changing Asset type

Im sure ive got in my head this can not be edited/changed, and once its set you need to create a new asset and select the correct type - is this correct? ie wanting to change this from laptop to desktop as i selected the incorrect type when created.

That's correct. Sadly, there is no facility to change the type once the asset has been added to the system. The only way we have found is to re-add the asset into the system under its correct type and then delete the incorrect one.
