Mailbox migration

We will be migrating an existing mailbox into Hornbill and I need to confirm what would happens with the existing mail. 

 

According to https://docs.hornbill.com/esp-config/email/shared-mailboxes all emails within Inbox will be moved into Hornbill and deleted from mail server.. 

It is definitely the case that emails within any other folders than Inbox will remain within the mail account?

The short answer is, yes, it is definitely the case that only messages in the Inbox folder will be downloaded to the Hornbill shared mailbox and then deleted from your mail server, all other folders on your server's mailbox will be left untouched.   I have also clarified this point in the documentation
