danb Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 Dont recall seeing this last week (have previously turned this off)
Nanette Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 @danb @GJ06 @Gareth Cantrell We are currently investigating this issue & will provide an update as soon as we can. Please bear with us. 1
Berto2002 Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 Is this also the same thing? but on here: Just found out openai was ON (NOT NOW!)... integration.openai.enable ?
JJack Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 We are also seeing this. Despite having turned of whatever we could previously. Is the apparently read-only key integration.openai.apiKey relevant?
Gareth Cantrell Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 @Berto2002 we have the main AI API integration disabled (integration.openai.enable) which should supersede any specific AI flags such as generativeAI.aiAssist
HHH Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 We see it too despite integration.openai.enable being turned off
Keith Stevenson Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 All Thanks for the posts. We have identified the root cause and the fix will be in tomorrows update which is scheduled for 5AM UTC Kind Regards 1

JJack Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 Does New Update: ESP (3932) - Announcements - Hornbill Community Forums mean that the fix is supposed to have already been put live? If so, not working for me, still seeing AI Assist available. ('The latest update of ESP (3932) has been released to live. Fix AI Assist functionality enabled despite being relevant settings off')
James Ainsworth Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 Hi @JJack Updates are usually applied during the evening/night within the maintenance window. Optionally, updates can be manually applied ahead of time from within the App Store. The visibility of some updates that are applied immediately such as platform updates or hotfixes may not show in the client without a refresh of the local browser cache or by logging out and restarting a new Hornbill session.
JJack Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Ah I see, thanks @James Ainsworth. (I'd already tried logging out of everything). Glad to know about manually applying updates. I see the AI Assist button seems to have disappeared this morning.
