Static drop down select boxes are now a mess

The new way static drop down select boxes look and work if there is a pre-selected value in the IC is a mess and totally confusing for the user.

First of all it looks like a text field with a "tag" in it. And if clicked it just says "you can only choose one value" with no indication  that it's a drop down box and that the user needs to manually click the "x" to remove the chosen value before they can see it's a drop down box and choose another.

We have had massive complaints from both external customers and users and I dread that I now have to go through all of our IC's and remove any pre-selected values from drop downs.

What are your thoughts on this?

Hello @HHH,

You are right, I can see how this is confusing. The current select makes sense more for a multiple item selection but not for a single item. 

I've added a change to improve the experience.
