system autoresonder when emailing an update

is there anyway for me to have the last updated by to be the actual person that emailed in the update opposed to generically saying system autoresponder

Unfortunately not - this a literal description and the update was performed by the Auto Responder. In the same way, if an analyst applies an email to a Request, the Last Updated By is the analyst, not the sender of the email.

I've tagged this as an Enhancement, however this does not guarantee acceptance or imply any timescales should it be accepted.
