Gareth Cantrell Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 I have created an Auto Task assigned to a custom button to create a slack channel when requested. However, the Cloud Automation for creating a channel fails with the following message: iBridge Method: /Slack/Channels/Channel Create.m Error: method_deprecated and the channel is not created. It appears that the Slack integration is using a deprecated API. Can you please update the Slack integration to use the current Slack APIs.
Jordan Gooding-McGovern Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 @Gareth Cantrell Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We'll look at getting that sorted.
Jordan Gooding-McGovern Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 @Gareth Cantrell A fix for this has just been released
Gareth Cantrell Posted August 14, 2024 Author Posted August 14, 2024 Thanks @Jordan Gooding-McGovern Creating a channel now works, however archiving a channel doesn't even allow me to publish the workflow: As you can see from the below screenshots, the channel is being set.
Jordan Gooding-McGovern Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 @Gareth Cantrell This should now be resolved in the latest release (alongside an output response so you can consistently see if it's passed or failed). 1
Gareth Cantrell Posted August 15, 2024 Author Posted August 15, 2024 Thanks @Jordan Gooding-McGovern - this is now working. Now just to figure out the "User Lookup Id" bug (IN00183450)
