Hi Morning,

I have a requirement to Capture hours of work it could take to complete the delivery. I am thinking of using this options through the Human Tasks, please let me know what's the purpose of this feature, will it be applicable only for the effort spent on that Task (Activity) or I can use it for my purpose which I mentioned above.

It I can make use of this option to solve my purpose, is this field reportable? If so, which Field should I use to capture what the Analysts have selected.

Thanks for your post.

Tasks can be used either on their own or linked to a number of entities, such as requests, to capture how long that particular task took.  However, this may not cover all of the time that a request may have been worked on.

For greater coverage of capturing how much time was spent on a request, you can install the Timesheet Manager app.  This will introduce a number of other options for recording time spent when working on a request.  With Timesheet Manager installed, each request will display a section that summarizes the time spent on the request and who did the work.

There is some information about the integration between Service Manager and Timesheet Manager on the wiki.  This documentation will soon be updated and transferred to our new docs.hornbill.com.
