enhancement Measures Query Text box size to be increased from 1024 to 2024 characters

Can the Query Text box on measures be increased from the current 1024 character limit to 2048 characters please.

Is this a limitation on the h_data_measure field h_sample_filter or the UI itself limiting the size of text that can be entered?

There is no Entity Explorer on the Platform in the Admin Tool to query this.

1024 is the maximum size of the database field.

So this enhancement would require a database change as well.

I'm not certain of the likelihood of a database change for this purpose, it appears to be well outside of the intended use of Measure, which are single-table entities by design.

It would probably be more useful to explain the goal you are looking to achieve so that we can assess what options are currently available and whether additional functionality is required.

As per the posts below, we have to create complex where clauses as the measures on currently on tables only, not entities and when query custom fields, you have to used the linked request specific type tables containing the custom fields.
