robertmichell Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 I need assistance with adding widgets to the homepage on Hornbill. The Intelligent Capture and Workflow are there and i've created a service portfolio entry for them. Ive created a widget (link) but stuck with finding the url link to the entry in the service portfolio, I have entered the url in the address bar from the Service Portfolio entry but get a 404 error are there any experts on adding widgets to the homepage that can give advice / best practice?
Jim Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 The links are relative so for example catalog/service/com.hornbill.servicemanager/1/ is the entire link needed to a service of ID 1, usually just navigating to the form and copying the link is the best way, if you are unable to do this check the portfolio status is 'Catalog' the request type i.e incident, service request is turned on and the catalog item is published if viewing via portal then make sure portal access is on for the service and as I am typing all these I realise there is a lot of config just to publish a new service
robertmichell Posted July 31, 2024 Author Posted July 31, 2024 Thanks for the info, unfortunately, i'm very new to Hornbill. I think the request is still in testing, is there any way of moving it to live?
robertmichell Posted July 31, 2024 Author Posted July 31, 2024 is there any way of copying a catalogue item from one folder to another in the Service Portfolio?
Jim Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 Sadly not, and as long as the process and intelligent capture is published and all the steps I've shown above are completed it should be 'live'
robertmichell Posted July 31, 2024 Author Posted July 31, 2024 I think i've cracked it with your help from the above entries. Many thanks for your help. 1
