lee mcdermott Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Hi , Just wondering if anyone has used this before or if it is a know bug. Or have I just configured it wrong? Basically I have created a flow as below. The first part adds the Impact assessment and then pauses until it is completed -wait for impact assessment as below It then adds and removes some notices. Then it adds the Urgency assessment which it does. However the Suspend wait for Urgency assessment does not work and the flow continues until it reaches the wait for request owner stage? The Suspend wait for Urgency assessment as below (the same as the suspend wait for impact assessment) Can any one see anything obvious as to why it does not suspend? When it reaches the wait for request owner, I can see the Urgency assessment is available and lets me complete it but obviously it should have paused earlier until it was completed any ideas? thanks lee
Jim Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Just a quick thought, is the urgency set at all? if so its not waiting for new its just waiting for it to exist, if it does it continues, a lot of the wait for nodes have that behaviour also is it the wrong one, try this before the suspend
lee mcdermott Posted July 30, 2024 Author Posted July 30, 2024 @Jim Thanks Jim, No the urgency has not yet been set anywhere so it shouldn't be that. the node before is already configured as you have shown as below. So totally confused as to why it is not working.
Jim Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 oooh okay, is this on app.com.hornbill.servicemanager.request.assessment.visibility ? and is the assesment questions marked as active? Other than that I'm as lost as yourself
Adrian Simpkins Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Hi Lee I also have a process where I have a wait for Impact Assessment which doesnt work as I find the analysts can just move onto resolve the request but I have just not had the time to raise a call to investigate it, I have just been manually moving those requests through the assesment which is a pain but I dont get many - maybe 2 a month as its a low use process. So I will follow this as interested to see what happens - I am suspecting maybe a bug? Other Suspend Wait Fors I use do appear to work its just this impact assessment option. Many thanks Adrian
lee mcdermott Posted August 1, 2024 Author Posted August 1, 2024 @Jim yeah the assessment is active. I now suspect this must be a bug as @Adrian Simpkins mentions above he has \is experiencing the same issue. It sounds like there will be changes to the ability to update the priority based on Impact\Urgency assessments coming soon (hopefully) so will maybe wait until this is available and then try again then to see if things work as they as should. 2
