lee mcdermott Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 Hi, We are looking to use the impact and urgency assessment to determine our priority levels. Is there a way to set the priority automatically based on the outcome of the 2 assessments? Something along the lines of. There doesn't seem to be anyway to link the priority to the assessments? How do people typically do this. I had 2 thoughts not sure if either would work. 1. Ask 2 questions on the logging form corresponding to Impact and urgency with 4 answers possible for each. Store the 2 answers in a custom fields. then somehow in the workflow have anode to update the priority based on the combination of answers possible which would be 16 different combinations. Not really sure how this would be done? 2. Actually use the proper Impact and urgency assessment - but then wondered from here is it possible to automatically update the priority based on the result. Would you have to use lots of branch rules the navigate through the 16 possible combinations. 3. Or is the only option to compete the assessments and manually check the results to then manually set the priority? any help or info on how to do this or how other people have set theirs up would be really useful thanks lee
AlexTumber Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 @lee mcdermott thanks for your post. One of the features we talked about at our user group event in November last year was priority matrices. This will hopefully be released in the very near future. I take it this is what you are looking for? Alex 1
