Managing Assets - UI Update made viewing details of the asset

The was an update which changed how Assets are being viewed rather than being in a nice drop down box in the red circle what assets you are looking at is now whis giant and obnoxious side window that eats screen space, can be hidden but then you can't tell what you are looking at with a quick glance

@EWA thanks for your post.

The change that was made is part of a larger initiative to move the main screens to all use the left hand menu for a better user experience and consistency across all Hornbill applications.

Firstly we should have included a Harry Hornbill training message to inform everyone of the change to the main asset view, but unfortunately this was missed during development. Secondly, there will be a further update to this view in an upcoming release which will add in a title for the selected asset class. This, I think, will fix the main complaint you have with the new interface.
