Martyn Houghton Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Linked to the post below about a filter on the Requests widget, currently, when a 'Basic User' uses the Quick Search function key CTRL+SHIFT+F, the Quick Search will locate the request but the user then gets a permission error as it then attempts to open the request in the application, i.e. Service Manager. The Basic User has access to the request as a connection and the service is configured for the connection type to have access to the request. Can the Quick Search logic be enhanced so that if the current user is a Basic User/does not have a app license, then the matching request is attempted to be open using the Employee Portal catalog link https://live.hornbill.com/<instance>/catalog/com.hornbill.servicemanager/request/<requestid>/ Cheers Martyn
Martyn Houghton Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 This is also related to my colleague Paul Chambers's post as well.
