Gareth Cantrell Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 I have been looking around to see whether there are any options available to notify request members when updates are made to a request. Digging through the application settings, I have found the following settings for request owners, but nothing for request members (NOT connections!): guest.app.requests.notification.notificationType.emailUpdate guest.app.requests.notification.notificationType.portalUpdate Is there a way to notify request members on request updates? Our requirement is for request members to be kept up to date on what is happening in a particular request without having to go through each request they've been added as members to. This is especially true for our Security teams when dealing with security incidents.
Steve Giller Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Membership of a Request is designed around granting ad-hoc access to Users who do not Support that Service, rather than as a notification mechanism. Any additions around this functionality would need to be requested as an enhancement to the product.
Gareth Cantrell Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 Thanks @Steve Giller I suspected that was the case, but wanted to confirm in case I'd missed something.
