Peter Clough Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 I have been building a workflow for requests that serve as a holding call for multiple others (somewhat akin to major incident or problems, but not as significant). I have a node to resolve the linked requests, which does work successfully, but doesn't set a closure category, and there doesn't seem to be any way to set this on the linked requests. Would it be possible to have it set the same closure category as used for the central call set to all linked requests when the call is closed, or is there another way of doing this?
James Ainsworth Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 I'm thinking that this is currently not offered because each request type within a service can have a different set of resolution/closer categories. I'm not exactly sure what would happen if you set a resolution/closure category to something that the request normally wouldn't have access to. It may allow it, but the same category might not be available to manually select. I'll review with our development team.
Peter Clough Posted July 18, 2024 Author Posted July 18, 2024 Thank you for looking into it. In our specific usecase, I'd expect things to all be incidents within the same service, though I realise that may very well not apply to everyone, so this makes sense.
