How do I set up guest users to raise tickets?

Hi, 

 

I need to allow an external company to be able to login to our hornbill tenant to raise tickets.  I've tried creating a guest account and logging it but i get a error:

Error

It was not possible to validate the supplied user credentials.

 

I also need to set them up with MFA when logging in how do I do this? i've tried changing the toggle to say MFA > Email but then when i try to login it says the 2FA failed. 

 

any help would be highly appreciated!

Hi @Isobellucas

Thanks for your post.

Typically, external companies would be set up as a Contact and External Organization and they they gain access using the Customer Portal.  My first question is have you set up this external company using Contacts and External Organizations?

Hey James, i did manage to work it out in the end sorry for the late reply! but yes this worked a treat :)
