Asset auto task/ticket creation

Hi all, just wondered if anyone has played with buttons/auto tasks from an Asset? What's your experience? What have you done?

An idea I'm about to start investigating is creating a new ticket from an asset as we start looking at logging our security vulnerability work, so the idea of the assigned user being the customer isn't really relevant if we can fix remotely without them knowing etc.
