How to update scheduled change dates when amended

Hi,

We have a workflow for standard change requests where the proposed dates for the change are picked up from a customised form and added to the change calendar in the workflow.  Sometimes the dates for the change are amended by the change requestor for various reasons, by using the calendar icon in the the change request.

Although the change calendar shows the amendment I would like to use the amended dates in an email template.

Is there a way to pick up the amended dates in the workflow?

Hi Estie,

Thanks for your post.  In the Change Request Automation within workflow there is a Get Change Information that will provide the start and stop dates.  Is this what you are looking for?

Note that the dates you get from the Scheduled Start and Scheduled End of the "Get Change Information" node will be in UTC time (not local time) so will need to be 'converted' when you send out the email. One way to do this is the to have a Get Local Time node for each time entering the output from the Get Change Information node as the Seed Time:
