bug? Activity stream no longer associated with new assets

When creating a new asset, an activity stream is no longer associated to the asset, in effect disabling the Update tab and timeline on every newly created asset.

I'm assuming this is a bug in the latest update, as no mention of disabling this functionality was mentioned in the announcements.

to my knowledge the newly created asset by default doesn't show the timeline.
In order to see that, you need to put the asset in policy.

Thanks Armando, that was the issue; I thought I was going crazy at least I now know thats only partially the case

@ArmandoDM I don't suppose there is a way to configure certain asset types to be created with In-Policy set by default is there?

I can see the option on the asset-import utility to do this, but not when manually creating an asset.

no, I'm not aware of a way of creating assets in policy.
