katy_palmer Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Is there any way to use the default display name from a simple list in the details area of a support request? I am unsure of the variable/string in order to use this, and if it is possible how do you choose a particular simple list out of multiple used?

katy_palmer Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 In supportworks you were able to display these selections for the analyst to refer to - we are unable to find out how to do this in service manager

Can you give us an example of what information (from a simple list) you want to display in the request details (and as much context around this as possible)?
Martyn Houghton Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 @katy_palmer If edit 'View Details' form on the Serivce > Request config you can setup one or more custom fields which are linked to a Simple List. The Display Name(s) will be shown in the Details form but the custom field in the database will hold the Value(s) field from Simple List. Cheers Martyn
