Andrew Parsons Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Hi - I've been trying to find a definition of this in the wiki but no luck Can someone explain how the above condition works? Basically I want a capture to behave differently depending on whether it's being filled out via our customer portal, versus an analyst filling out the same form on Service Manager. However I'm not sure what the corresponding values would be for those two options to test. I've already tried "self service" and "analyst" or "portals" etc but they don't seem to work. Or is there another way of achieving it?
Victor Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 @Andrew Parsons try the values mentioned in the variable name: Service Desk and Portals... it might be that capitalisation matters here so keep the S and P ...
Andrew Parsons Posted May 13, 2024 Author Posted May 13, 2024 Hi @Victor - Tried both of these (with and without capitalisation, as well as contains 'portal') and it makes no difference to the outcome
Andrew Parsons Posted May 14, 2024 Author Posted May 14, 2024 Please ignore my last message - I've got it working (it helps if I apply the condition to the right decision tree! )

Andrew Parsons Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 @Victor I assume so - I used: != Portals which works when an analyst is filling out the form, but not a customer via the portal
