AlexTumber
@Berto2002 If the request is assigned to a team only and you are a member of that team and available for request assignment then you will see the new button on the right hand summary section as per the screenshot below. Sam P
Thanks Alex that's great. It would be equally great to have this on all tickets, not just unassigned, perhaps that can be added in the future
Berto2002
Ah, ok, yes, I would endorse that this should be on ALL Requests (if in the team) because about half of our initial assignments use "most available" or "round robin" assignment in workflow so the button will rarely show. Analysts do need to dive-in and take ownership from other analysts in the team sometimes (easier for someone to say "I'll grab that from you" than ask them to "please assign to me"). +1 for all Requests (assuming user is in the same team); because it's quicker than using the re-assignment function.

Sam P
@AlexTumber is there a new setting that could be adjusted so the Action visibility can be customised? By default we have this set to Team. Thanks
Berto2002
@Sam P these are all set in the Service Manager Application Settings. use this as a filter and you will see them all. Take care to click the "include advanced settings" because, for some reason, Hb have made half of them standard and half of them advanced... ui.app.com.hornbill.servicemanager.operation The "popup" one determines what options can be made available there and there is: The one for general updates is this I think: guest.ui.app.com.hornbill.servicemanager.operation.defaultVisibility.update
Sam P
@Berto2002 thanks, I have update set to Customer, however isn't this Button taking the 'assign' action? When we assign from the Action Bar its set to Team by default, thats what I need for the new button
