Jim Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Morning, I am aware the scheduled requests obviously don't have an intelligent capture to work with but I was expecting them to follow the business process for the catalogue item, The Service does show the correct Catalogue item but it has not generated a process. Have I done something wrong here or am I expecting something that is not a thing?
Nanette Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Please can you provide the steps you have taken? Can you provide screenshots of what you are seeing?
Jim Posted October 18, 2023 Author Posted October 18, 2023 Sure, The scheduled request config: The catalogue item: - When it generated: but no process started
Gareth Cantrell Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 +1 I'm seeing the same. The request gets generated but the workflow configured to the catalog item selected in the scheduled request is not attached to the request. No amount of cajoling via an auto-task to reassess the BPM is helping either.
Steve Giller Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 @Jim All of my tests this morning have assigned the correct Workflow. The config looks OK from your screenshots, however there's nothing above to show that there is no Workflow assigned - can you show what is indicating that no Workflow is attached?
Gareth Cantrell Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 (edited) I'm guessing the scheduler is looking for a BPM configured against the request type for the service and not respecting the bpm configured against the catalog item. EDIT: given that the scheduler allows you to select the catalog item, I was expecting it would use the BPM configured against the catalog item and fallback to the BPM configured against the service if no catalog item was supplied. Edited October 18, 2023 by Gareth Cantrell additional clarification
Jim Posted October 18, 2023 Author Posted October 18, 2023 @Steve Giller it's difficult to demonstrate something that isn't there other than the error I have. The only way I am able to get this is from the auto task button I have, which as I type this probably does demonstrate something not being there as [[h_bpm_id]] has not resolved What I expect What the scheduled request shows:
