Josh.F Posted May 23, 2023 Share Posted May 23, 2023 Hi, does anyone already know of or have a way of applying bulk updates to Assets ? we deal with a large number of devices and often have to order them in bulk, or will have them moved from one state / sub state to another in bulk. from our testing currently when uploading the CSV template downloaded from our environment, if we do not use validation the file will just upload duplicates, if we do use the validation it only errors and does not apply any changes to any of the assets listed. Steve Giller Posted May 23, 2023 Share Posted May 23, 2023 The CSV Upload in the Hornbill UI is exclusively for Imports, not for Updates. Please check the Asset Data Import Tool which can both import and update assets from a variety of data sources, including csv files, which should achieve your goal.
