will.good Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Hi, The ability to lock the assessment action is missing from the Lock/Unlock Actions node - please can this be added
James Ainsworth Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Hi @will.good You can use the Lock Escalate. There was a renaming of the action on the request from Escalate to Assessment. I'll see if this can also be renamed here. 1
will.good Posted May 11, 2023 Author Posted May 11, 2023 Hi @James Ainsworth Using the Lock Escalate doesn't appear to work for us - even setting all the options on the node as yes, still leave the assessment action unlocked
James Ainsworth Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Odd. It seems to have worked for me. What type of request is it? Incident, Service Request, or other? Is the request currently suspended with a Wait for Assessment BPM node for an Impact assessment? I'd be interested to see what the Assessment tab looks like. I'm just trying to think of other things that I can test to try to replicate.

I have been testing this just through an autotask (attached) and not through the actual BPM (don't think that would make a difference though?) Also attached the BPM if that helps testing.draft.bpm.txt generic-process---low-priority.version-112.bpm.txt
James Ainsworth Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 I'm testing using the Auto Tasks too . While the assessment action worked for me, I found that when all actions were set to lock, the Boards action didn't lock. So, I'm assuming that there is something else at play here that might be influencing if an action is locked or not. I'll keep testing. 1
HGrigsby Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 @James Ainsworth Thank you for telling me it was "escalate" not "assessment" - spent ages trying to find where to unlock it, wish I'd found this post earlier though! Helen
