Jeremy
We have a board with 16 lanes but when the user tries to add a request to a board that they created they get this error: They have these rights: The board is shared and set up like this: In this case the user is 'L', why can requests not be added to this board? TrevorHarris
Hi, Is the user able to see the Board in their boardlist view, and can they add cards directly to the board from the board view? You could also check the allowed types of the board in the board configuration to make sure it allows the type of request you're trying to add Thanks Trevor
Jeremy
@TrevorHarris yes the user created the board themselves, in the settings it allows all types of requests, cards etc to be added and they can add cards to the board directly. It just seems that requests either Incidents or Service Requests cannot be added to this board for some reason.
Jeremy
are there any other thoughts on this issue?
TrevorHarris
unfortunately, I'm not able to replicate this issue and the only things that would prevent this board from being displayed there if they can be seen in the main board view are what has already been checked, the accepted types, and that you have "can add" permissions. The only thing I can think to suggest is if another board was created does that show here?
TrevorHarris
Hi @Jeremy We have found a bug that could lead to this behaviour, there is a problem when updating the board configuration if all allowed types are selected, we will roll out a fix for this in the next few days - a potential workaround in the meantime is to deselect any of the Allowed Types in the Board Config popup as the issue only occurs if every type is selected. Thanks Trevor
Jeremy
we also found that adding the board to a collection allows the correct behaviour. But we look forward to the fix.
