How to report on Stage / Checkpoint status

Without using Custom Fields is it possible to report on the Stage / Checkpoint status of a request?  In the first examples it would be "all requests at Change Approvals stage" or where "Change Approval stage is not complete" (actually change is probably not the best example as there are actual fields), in the second example it would be "all requests when RFW Scoping Completed is checked".  Thanks

@Sam P I'm afraid it is not possible. To be more precise, the data is there but it is not, by any shape or form, suited for any kind of reporting. With this in mind I would say it is not possible.

@Sam P is there anything in your environment (configurations and such) that prevents the use of custom fields for this purpose? And why would you need to report on stage checklist, for what purpose? I am just curios to understand, perhaps there are (maybe better) alternatives to achieve what you need...

Thanks @Victor

Using the two examples above I was hoping that the report might be able to show me things like:

  • How many changes are at Change Approval stage (I have this on a board but wanted
  • Time taken between logging and RFW Scoping is completed (lots of other examples of this in our BPs, e.g. how quickly a new account was provisioned, how quickly equipment was provided)

With the help of our product specialist we have dedicated some of our custom fields for specific purposes across the platform so I wanted to avoid doing the same for Stage/Checkpoint reporting because I'll soon run out (see post).  If it can be achieved any other way, I'd be happy to learn!

@Sam P you can perhaps dedicate just one custom filed to this (instead of several)? Then update this field with different values as the workflow progresses...
