Hi,

We see differences in the timestamp of chat sessions when reporting and when looking at the actual chat session. Sometimes the chat session is an hour out.

I'm assuming this is a bug but just wanted to check on here before raising a ticket... example below showing reporting and the actual chat session

Hi,

The display in the chat session will be localised to your current timezone as set by your browser/OS, whereas the report will be displaying the UTC time (Greenwich Mean Time).  I imagine the discrepancy your seeing is due to daylight saving time

Thanks

@TrevorHarris We are also seeing this discrepancy.

Our localised timezone is GMT and we have daylight saving at the moment.

This seems to be an issue in other places in Hornbill too.  In workflows we are able to add dates to custom fields and format them e.g. for change requests.

Is there anything we can do to change or format the Chat report times to avoid further work when presenting the reports to senior managers?

Report 'created on' time one hour before the live chat session window.
