will.good Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Hi, I am looking at implementing the Board Manager app in our instance, so have just been exploring the functionality of it. I have a test SR open and when I click on the Board Action it says: The board that I have created is shared with the Group that the SR is assigned to Am I missing something obvious as to why I cannot add this to a board?
James Ainsworth Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Hi @will.good I'm not sure if these affect the visibility of the Boards on the requests themselves, but if you go into the Config Board option on your board, do you have the different request types that you are planning to use on the board selected?
will.good Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 Hi @James Ainsworth Yes all are selected - Strangely, if I select a timeline update on a request it gives me the option to add the post to a Board
James Ainsworth Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 It really should be that simple. Have you tried logging out of Hornbill and back in? It shouldn't be needed, but sometimes I have seen where the session information isn't there for an app to know that you have just added some rights or roles to your logged in user.
will.good Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 I have done yeah - also tried a hard refresh through developer tools. Should I log a ticket for success to take a look at?
James Ainsworth Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 There's no harm in raising a support ticket. Until they come back to you, I'll continue to think on other things we can try
James Ainsworth Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Hi Will, I just wanted to see if you have had any progress on this?
will.good Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Hi @James Ainsworth Appreciate you checking in, This is currently still under investigation (IN00174690) by the success team
