Estie Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Hi both myself and two other users are getting this error when trying to access the portal in Firefox: We have tried clearing the cache with no luck. Is this normal? Thanks Stefania
Daniel Dekel Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Hi @Stefania Tarantino, Is not normal. But in order to understand where the problem is, can you please give me some more details? 1. What version of Firefox do you use? 2. What operating system and what version? 3. Are you using a theme that is not the light one (dark or high contrast)? Thank you, Daniel.
Estie Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 Hi Daniel, I am using a Windows 10 device Edition Windows 10 Enterprise Version 20H2 Installed on 16/02/2022 OS build 19042.2006 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0 Normal Theme - Light one I will check with another user and let you know if any different.
Daniel Dekel Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Hi @Stefania Tarantino, The issue is that the Firefox version is very old. Is from June 2020 and that build apparently is missing some important features for Hornbill. The latest version of Firefox is 106.0, I suggest you turn ON the auto update to always have the latest security patches and features of Firefox. Regards, Daniel.
Estie Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 Hi Daniel, Unfortunately we are bound to this version as it is managed/updated by our Windows Desktop Team. So I cannot simply turn on the auto update feature. I will however feed this back to the team responsible for the updates. Thanks for looking into it so quickly. Stefania
Daniel Dekel Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 You are welcome @Stefania Tarantino. Let them know that we support Firefox with the latest version in the Release Channel. You can find more here: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php?title=Getting_Started Kind regards, Daniel. 1
